Correcting the name of typwriter keys and internet address language so they are no longer backslashes
These are called slashes // \\ and backslashes but they are actually standing line forward and standing line back.
I don't know who came up with this word but they weren't sensitive to the reactions of world regarding the time of slavery. It is a bad memory and a violent word to be referring to those keys as slashes and back slashes. Slashes and backslash words are so traumatizing when I say them and even more sad when I hear people say them.
you could also try leaning back standing line and leaning forward standing line.
